Most Denler models install on doors roughly 35 mm to 100 mm thick. That covers many Perth timber entry doors and common apartment doors. If your door is outside that range, or unusually narrow, send a thickness measurement when you enquire so we can confirm fit before quoting.

Often yes, but clearance between the doors matters. As a rule of thumb, about 70 mm gap is needed when locking the inner main door only; locking both doors needs substantially more space. Photos of the door pair from the side help us advise before we book an install.

Warranty length follows the Denler model: many premium and mid-range locks are specified at up to five years on the lock (excluding physical damage), with entry models such as the F1 commonly at three years. Batteries typically carry a shorter warranty period. We explain the exact cover for your chosen model at quote stage and support claims through our local channel.

Rechargeable models commonly last about one to two months per charge depending on unlock frequency, camera or intercom use, and WiFi habits. Some AA-powered setups run longer between changes. Low-battery alerts and mechanical key override remain important — we cover both during handover.

Yes for the lock itself: these are battery-powered on the door, so a house blackout does not freeze the deadbolt the way a hardwired electric strike might. App and cloud features need your phone network or local WiFi; fingerprints, PINs, cards and the physical key still work offline according to the model.
